Fiji Airways Men’s National 7s team coach, Gareth Baber says he has been communicating with players such as Leone Nakarawa, Semi Kunatani and Josua Tuisova over the past year and what he expects from them.

Baber says the players are aware that nothing is a given and they have to prove themselves in the coming days for selection.

He adds it is a huge bonus that they are able to go to Utah for a training camp.

Baber says they will play build-up matches against teams like the U.S Army.

He has also asked the fans to continue supporting the team.

The training squad left for Utah last night while Baber is expected to name his final 12 by the 18th of this month.

Fiji open their Rugby World Cup 7s campaign against the winner of Qualifying Match 7, either Japan or Uruguay on the 21st of this month at 3.53pm.
