The last quarterfinalist will be determined and playoff venues will be decided in this weekend’s final round of Super Rugby.

Seven quarterfinalists have already been determined, four from New Zealand, two from South Africa and one from Australia.

The defending champion Crusaders have sealed first place in the New Zealand conference and on the overall table, ensuring they will have home advantage as long as they stay alive in the playoffs.

The Waratahs have clinched first place in the Australian conference.

First place remains up for grabs in an African conference in which the Lions are three points ahead of the Jaguares.

The Lions will play the Bulls and the Jaguares will face the Sharks with the African conference winner automatically qualifies for the playoffs and has home advantage until it faces a higher ranked opponent.

The Waratahs will end the regular season against the Brumbies, who have a slight chance of making the playoffs.

If the Tahs beat the Brumbies and finish second overall they will face the seventh placed side, currently the Jaguares, who have beaten them this year.

But the Highlanders and even the Rebels could also finish in that spot.

A loss and a Lions win would relegate the Tahs to third and a quarterfinal against the sixth placed side, most likely the Highlanders.

Looking at the matches tonight, the Chiefs will play the Hurricanes at 7.35 tonight while the Reds will take on the Sunwolves at 9.45pm.

Tomorrow, the Highlanders will take on the Rebels at 5.15pm, the Crusaders face the Blues at 7.35pm while the Waratahs will take on the Brumbies at 9.45pm.

On Sunday, the Lions face the Bulls at 1.05am while the Sharks will take on the Jaguares at 3.15am.
