Prime Minister Voreqe Bainimarama has told the community of Bilalevu Sigatoka, to stay away from politicians that promote their agenda along religious and racial lines.
He made the comments at the Bilalevu Annual Fire-walking Pooja.
Bainimarama says that differences along racial lines must never define Fiji.
He told the devotees there that they must reject this way of thinking because it will not bring them prosperity or peace.
Bainimarama requested the people that if they come across anyone trying to divide Fijians, it was their duty not to accept such people in the society.
