“This has just started and will not end soon.”

Ba soccer team’s top marksman Abbu Zahid has made this statement after Ba won its 90th title yesterday by beating Suva 2-0 in the final of the Inkk Mobile BOG.

Ba has won a title after three years and they did it in style by beating a number of teams with good goal margins.

Fijivillage had earlier highlighted that Ba’s finishing was poor and this resulted in the their dismal performance in the Vodafone Fiji FACT this year where they could not qualify to the semis.

However, the Men in Black scored a total of 12 goals in the BOG and Zahid was the highest goal scorer after he netted five.

Zahid who resides in Vomo Street in Lautoka but has links to Vatulaulau in Ba says it is a proud moment for the Ba soccer family.

All Ba players will get $2,000 each as their President, Rishi Kumar says he will top up the $15,000 prize money to ensure all players in the squad receive a good amount.

Meanwhile, Ba will face Lautoka this Sunday in the Vodafone Premier League.

In other VPL matches, Rewa will play Tavua while Nadi will face Suva.
