The parents of the child who was found walking alone near Dunston Road in Nausori this morning have come forward and have been reunited with their son.

Police say they were separated in town and officers have advised them of the importance of closely monitoring their son.

Police had earlier requested for assistance to help identify the little boy who was in the care of Police officers at the Eastern Division Headquarters after a member of the public had brought him in.
