Scott Barrett has sung the praises of All Blacks tight‑head specialist Owen Franks, ahead of the second Bledisloe Cup Test at Eden Park on Saturday.
The All Blacks forward Barrett spoke to media in Auckland, talking up the credentials of front rower Franks, who could be in line to play his 100th Test match for New Zealand if named to play this weekend.
Barrett says that he thinks tight‑head is probably one of the hardest, if not the hardest position to play adding that he gives credit to Franks as he is a professional off the field.
Barrett says the 30‑year‑old has a special aura about Franks and that he brings a lot to the team.
The Wallabies will meet the All Blacks at Eden Park at 7.35pm Saturday.
Meanwhile South Africa will take on Argentina at 7.10am Sunday.
