Australian High Commissioner to Fiji, John Feakes says that Fiji shares Australia’s love for sports.
While hosting the Fiji and Australia 2018 Junior Pan Pacific swimming teams for afternoon tea yesterday, Feakes told the Australian team that he hopes they get a taste of the passion and enthusiasm Fijians have for sports.
He adds that the two teams will make lasting friendships.
The 2018 Junior Pan Pacific Swimming Championships starts tomorrow at the Damodar Aquatic Centre.
Fiji will have 36 swimmers while Australia will have 30 swimmers participating in the championship.
