The Fiji Cricket team has beaten Vanuatu by three wickets in their 2020 ICC World T20 – East Asia Pacific qualifier match at Albert Park this afternoon.

Fiji finished with 145 on 7 wickets to win the match.

Vanuatu started batting first and they have managed 143 for 9 wickets.

Fiji will take on PNG at 1.45pm today in their second match.

Meanwhile, Papua New Guinea beat Samoa by 80 runs.

PNG managed 209 on 8 wickets to win the match.

Samoa finished batting with 129 on 7 wickets.

The top two teams at the end of the tournament will progress to the ICC World T20 – EAP regional final in 2019.
