The Nasinu Soccer Team has made it to the Premier Division competitions and will begin playing from the next season after a lapse of 8 years.
This is after Nasinu ended their senior league playoff match with Lami with a 1-all draw.
Nasinu Coach Nathan Shivam who was also part of the team that played in the premier competitions before the team got demoted said the boys have lived up to everyone’s expectations.
Nasinu’s lone goal was netted by Joseph Mishra in the 14th minute of the first-half.
Nasinu just needed a win or a draw to qualify into the premier competitions.
It has been a long time coming for Nasinu soccer team as once known as giant killers, Nasinu used to win major soccer tournaments but for the last eight years, they have been playing in the Senior competition.
Nasinu was demoted in 2010.
