Nadi has defeated Tavua 1-nil in the Vodafone Premier League competition.

Both teams were locked nil all at half time.

Nadi entered the field with determination after the break and scored the winning goal into the 3rd minute of half time.

The lone goal for Nadi was scored by Rusiate Matarerega.

Nadi Team President Javed Ahmed says the team had control if the ball and midfield very well.

Nadi has now moved up to third place in the Vodafone Premier League points table.
