The 30 year old driver who allegedly caused the death of a 30 year old man in Nakasi last Friday has been charged and will be produced in the Nasinu Magistrates Court this morning.
The accused has been charged with one count each of dangerous driving occasioning death, dangerous driving occasioning grievous bodily harm and drinking and driving.
The accident occurred at around 7am at the junction of Vavalagi Road when the accused who is alleged to have been driving under the influence of alcohol hit the victim who was walking with a 26 year old co worker.
