Some students did not have funds in their subsidized e-ticketing cards at the start of the last school term yesterday.
Officials have told Fijivillage that some of these students recently had their cards replaced and the funds were put into the cards they had lost.
These students or their parents are advised to visit a District Education Office or a Vodafone Fiji Outlet for their cards to be redeemed.
Some other students did not have funds in their cards as it was not activated by their parents before the school term started.
All cards were open for activation from last Thursday.
The Education Ministry says to access these funds, students carrying blue eTransport cards simply need to activate their cards using the “redeem” function on any bus point of sale or by visiting any District Education Office or Vodafone Outlet.
The redeem function will not work on Tebara Buses.
