Fake US$100 discovered in Labasa and sent to Reserve Bank for verification

A US$100 note believed to be fake has been discovered in Labasa.

Police say the discovery was made last Monday which was tendered at a foreign exchange outlet in Labasa.

The note has been sent to the Reserve Bank for verification.

Three men were questioned and released last week.
