The Fiji Police family is mourning the loss of its Deputy Commissioner of Police Isikeli Sauliga who passed away at the Wellington Hospital following a short illness.
The late Deputy Commissioner was on leave in New Zealand at the time of his death.
In a statement, Police Commissioner Sitiveni Qiliho says they are saddened by the loss of the Deputy Police Commissioner who at the age of 53 had a proud policing career serving in Fiji and in overseas missions.
He is survived by his wife and six children.
