The Board of Water Authority of Fiji is in the final stages of selecting its new CEO.
Board’s Director, Kamal Gounder says they have engaged an International Human Resources firm to carry out the recruitment process.
He says the new CEO of Water Authority of Fiji is expected to start work in a few months time.
Gounder has not ruled out the possibility of the appointment an expatriate and has stated that they are making sure the person they are getting has technical expertise as well background of better accountability and governance.
Authority’s former CEO, Opetaia Ravai’s contract was discontinued last year.
