Elections day on 14th November, 2018 will be a public holiday.

This has been confirmed by the Attorney General, Aiyaz Sayed‑Khaiyum while responding to a question by Rajendra Prasad in a talanoa session at Hanuman Gadhi Temple in Nakasi last night.

Sayed‑Khaiyum stressed that this has been gazetted and there will be a paid public holiday on Elections day on 14th November, 2018.
