Fiji Airways Flying Fijians coach John McKee says the Drua’s success will help Fiji topple big guns at the Rugby World Cup.
McKee says the Drua can help Fiji take down some big‑names including the Wallabies.
The Drua sit at the top of the table after five rounds, with four wins and a loss, and they average 42 points a game.
The Flying Fijians side has always been primarily made up of Europe‑based players and McKee says he is now increasingly relying on Drua players for national call‑ups.
He told rugby.com.au that by next year the likes of Frank Lomani and star playmaker Alivereti Veitokani will not just be involved in their World Cup campaign, but be major contributors too.
The Drua will face Canberra Vikings at 3pm Saturday at Churchill Park.
