ANZ today handed over a sponsorship cheque of $50,000 to the Sukuna Bowl Committee to prepare for the Sukuna Bowl Challenge.
While receiving the cheque, Land Force Commander Colonel Manoa Gadai says the sponsorship will help in preparing the facilities that will be used during the games.
Colonel Gadai says that this will also help both forces in their training and preparation towards the competition.
ANZ Head of Corporate Sustainability, Micro Finance and Development, Sitiveni Marovia says they are always happy to be included in the development of rugby and to be part of the Challange.
Marovia adds that many people look forward to the competition and they are very proud and hope the ANZ Sukuna Bowl Challenge this year will be a success.
Meanwhile the Sukuna Bowl Challenge is expected to be held later this month which will include Rugby, Volleyball, Netball, Soccer and also for the first time a Women’s Sevens tournament.
