An early morning fire in Sanasana, Naisoso in Nadi has destroyed the home of a 50-year-old woman.
NFA Chief Fire Officer Qionilau Moceitai says their Nadi Fire Station received the call at 4.20am today and arrived at the scene at 4.28am.
Moceitai says that when they reached, the house was fully engulfed in flames.
He confirms that it was a 2 bedroom concrete house where the owner lived in one of the rooms and a tenant in another.
A joint investigation is now underway with NFA and police to ascertain the cause of the fire.
