Police have submitted the investigation file of the alleged brutal assault on a 26-year-old man to the Office of the Director of Public Prosecutions.

Police have confirmed two police officers have been suspended without pay in relation to the incident.

Josua Lalauvaki was allegedly assaulted by police officers outside a nightclub in Suva on 2nd of last month and he passed away on the 13th of this month.

The case was classified as murder after the post mortem was conducted.
