Former California Governor and Actor Arnold Schwarzenegger has acknowledged the leadership of Prime Minister Voreqe Bainimarama at a meeting of diverse leaders searching for innovative financing solutions to tackle climate change.
The meeting is part of the Talanoa Dialogue, a global process requested by Parties to the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change.
The Talanoa was chaired by Arnold Schwarzenegger.
Participants included singer and philanthropist Akon, San Diego Mayor Kevin Faulconer, Fijian Ambassador to the U.S Solo Mara, former California State Senator Fran Pavley CEO of the Leonardo DiCaprio Foundation Terry Tamminen.
Prime Minister Voreqe Bainimarama addressed the meeting via a video and thanked Schwarzenegger for his support.
