The investigation file regarding a 26 year old man who was allegedly assaulted outside a nightclub in Suva last month and who later passed away earlier this month is still with the Office of the Director of Public Prosecutions for sanctioning.
Police have confirmed two police officers from Totogo Police Station in Suva have been suspended without pay in relation to the incident.
Josua Lalauvaki was allegedly assaulted by police officers outside a nightclub on 2nd of last month and he passed away on the 13th of this month.
The case was classified as murder after the post mortem was conducted.
