Manchester United have named former player Ole Gunnar Solskjaeras caretaker manager until the end of the season, a day after sacking former Manager Jose Mourinho.
Solskjaer spent 11 seasons at Old Trafford, scoring the winning goal in the 1999 Champions League final.
The 45‑year‑old takes over with United who are placed sixth in the Premier League.
The Caretaker Manager says Manchester United is in his heart and it is brilliant to be coming back in this role.
He adds that this is an opportunity he had to take.
Meanwhile, in the Carabao Cup matches this morning, Arsenal will take on Tottenham while Chelsea will play Bournemouth.
Both matches are scheduled to begin at 8.45am.
