As people welcomed the New Year with their own various celebrations, the Colonial War Memorial Hospital welcomed three of their very own new born babies between the stroke of midnight and 1am this morning.

Losana Adibale of Navosai, Narere could not hold back her tears as she described how happy she is to finally have her baby adding that having to deliver right at 12 midnight brought her even more joy for the new year.

The proud mother of 6 is yet to name little princess.

Rinieta Silika delivered her bundle of joy just a little after 12am and she says that this meant a totally new beginning for her family.

The happy mother says that 9 months of pregnancy have brought no regrets at all as she looks forward to taking her new born son home where her family is awaiting them.

The third new born, a baby girl was born to Asinate Tupou of Cunningham who says that her daughter will be the new addition to her now family of three.
