McDonald’s Fiji Coral Coast 7s defending champions, Police are aiming for exposure for their new players in the tournament which kicks off in two weeks.

Team Manager Gaunavou Vakalevi says they have been preparing for the last three weeks.

42 teams will be participating in the tournament which includes 16 men’s, 10 women’s and 16 youth teams.

The 3 day 7s tournament will take place from the 16th to the 19th of this month at Lawaqa Park.

Former Springbok and Rugby 15s World Cup winner Bryan Habana is the Tournament Ambassador this year.

Meanwhile, Fiji Airways Men’s National 7s players are on full swing in training as they prepare for the Hamilton 7s later this month.

The 19 member squad burned off the holiday calories at Bidesi Park yesterday.

Coach Gareth Baber has focused on players speed.

He was impressed with the players performance after training last week.

Fiji is pooled with Australia, Wales and Spain in the Hamilton 7s which will be held on the 26th and the 27th of this month.
