The schedule for shipping services for maritime islands will not be normal for Patterson Brothers Shipping Company Ltd and Goundar Shipping Services in the next few days.
This will affect the thousands of people currently spending their holidays in the maritime islands.
Both companies say scheduling will depend on the weather warnings in place for the Fiji waters.
The two shipping service providers provides services for major maritime destinations including Vanua Levu, Kadavu, Ovalau, Koro, Taveuni and Gau.
Patterson Brothers Shipping Company says that they will not take the risk of sailing because of the current weather warning in place while Goundar Shipping Services has confirmed that they made services available for Kadavu and Savusavu yesterday while the rest are being cancelled until further notice.
