Good news for motorists as both lanes on Princes Road near Dilkusha are now open to traffic.

According to Fiji Roads Authority, the two lanes will remain open however the footpath near the slip will remain closed for safety reasons.

The FRA confirmed earlier today that officials from the Ministry of Forestry have cut most of the overhanging branches on Dilkusha Hill that was pointed out by the Geotech team.

The FRA also removed all the waste vegetation that was cut down by officials of the Ministry of Forestry and also carried out drainage works that was blocked during the slip on Sunday.
