It is very difficult to repeat a winning performance as there is a lot of mental and physical effort that goes into winning a tournament however we have been consistently working so that the players are mentally and physically prepared to win again this weekend.
Those are the words of Fiji Airways Men’s 7s coach, Gareth Baber.
Speaking from Sydney, Baber says last year, a number of their tournaments were won in the second tournament of the leg.
Meanwhile, captain Kalione Nasoko says they are prepared for this weekend.
Baber has picked Mesulame Kunavula, Kalione Nasoko (captain), Sevuloni Mocenacagi, Meli Derenalagi, Josua Vakurinabili, Apenisa Cakaubalavu, Jerry Tuwai, Waisea Nacuqu, Terio Tamani, Vilimoni Botitu, Alasio Naduva and Aminiasi Tuimaba for the Sydney 7s.
