Minister for Local Government Premila Kumar has confirmed that it is the same land that is being exchanged with the land in Delhi.

The Fijian Government in 2014 said the decision had been made for the Indian government to lease the state land near the Fiji Museum for 99 years.

This piece of state land is valued at $1.5 million.

In return, the Indian government had given a piece of land to Fiji in Delhi which is valued at $107 million.

People can address their written objections to the acting CEO of the SCC by the 25th of this month.
