The Fiji Airways Men’s national 7s team has finished fourth in the Sydney 7s as they lost the bronze final by 19-17 against England.
The half-time score was 12-0 as Tom Bowen scored twice for England.
Coach Gareth Baber told the players at half-time that they have to be the first ones to score the try in the second half.
However, England scored again through Will Muir as England led 19-0.
Apenisa Cakaubalavu scored a hat-trick for Fiji but it was not enough as England held on for the win.
Fiji is yet to win a Sydney 7s title.
Meanwhile, Alasio Naduva was given the UL Mark of Excellence Award for his spectacular try against Japan in the first pool match.
Naduva says he just kept working hard for that try.

Looking at the HSBC Sevens Series standings after four tournaments, New Zealand and USA lead the series with 76 points, Fiji is third with 72 points while South Africa is fourth with 57 points.
