The two parents who had purchased text books for their children who attend Assemblies of God Primary School will be asked to return the books to the bookshops or the school will refund them.
This has been confirmed by the Permanent Secretary for Education Alison Burchell who says she has spoken to the Acting Head Teacher of the school.
The Acting Head Teacher says these parents were given the book lists by mistake.
Fijivillage had received information about two parents who were given book lists that had text books listed despite the announcement by the Ministry that it will supply all text books to schools and parents do not have to buy them.
