Hurricanes winger Ben Lam says the men from Wellington are in for a tough task against the in‑form Brumbies in Palmerston North on Friday.

The Hurricanes are coming off a 38‑22 loss to the Crusaders last Saturday, with the Brumbies crushing the Chiefs in Canberra last weekend 54‑17.

Ben Lam knows the threats the Brumbies side possess across the park admitting that he was a bit shocked by the score‑line in the Brumbies' clash with the Chiefs.

The last time the two teams met, the Hurricanes went down 24‑12.

The Hurricanes will meet the Brumbies at 6.35pm Friday.

In other matches on Friday, the Rebels will take on the Highlanders at 8.45pm.

On Saturday, the Chiefs take on the Sunwolves at 6.35pm and defending Super Rugby champions, the Crusaders will take on the Reds at 8.45pm.

On Sunday, the Lions will face the Bulls at 1.05am, the Sharks will meet the Stormers at 3.15am while the Jaguares will take on the Blues at 9.40am.
