Vodafone Ba soccer team coach Ronil Kumar says he is delighted that his team can still make it to the OFC Champions League quarter finals after they drew their match with one all with Erakor Golden Star.
Speaking to Radio NZ News after Ba’s match against Erakor Golden Star FC last night, Kumar says that there were a lot of opportunities for the team to capitalize on, however he is happy with the draw.
Kumar says that even though the team was a goal behind at half time they did not lose hope.
Ba will now have to defeat Kiwi FC in their final pool match by as many goals as they can and hope that Erakor Golden Star FC get defeated by Team Wellington.
Kiwi FC lost to Team Wellington 13-0 yesterday. Ba will take on Kiwi FC at 6pm this Friday.
