46-year-old Shalendra Sami who murdered his brother in April, 2015 has been given a life sentence by the Lautoka High Court.
The evidence revealed in court showed that there had been continuous disputes between Sami and his deceased brother.
Sami had stabbed his brother twice.
At the time of the incident, the accused and his deceased brother were alone at their home in Lautoka.
A minimum term of 12 years has been set after which a pardon can be considered.
