Blues forwards Dalton Papali’i and Patrick Tuipulotu are backing their side to continue their hot form after snapping an almost three‑year winless drought against New Zealand Super Rugby sides last week.
The Blues have found a new formula which has worked for them the last few weeks, opting to start several of their All Blacks players on the bench.
Tuipulotu and Papali’i announced that they have re‑signed new NZ Rugby deals with Tuipulotu signing on until 2020 and Papali’i signing on until 2022.
Tonight the Blues take on the Stormers at 6.35pm, the Reds will meet the Rebels at 8.45pm and tomorrow, the Sharks will play the Bulls at 1.05am while the Jaguares host the Chiefs at 9.40am.
In other matches, the Crusaders crushed the Hurricanes 32-8 while the Sunwolves defeated the Waratahs 31-29.
