Man who allegedly raped his wife to appear in Court today

A man in his 30s will be produced in the Suva Magistrates Court today for allegedly raping his wife.

Police say the alleged incident occurred on the 27th of March at the couple's home in Vatuwaqa.

The accused has been charged with one count of serious assault and one count of rape.
