Minister for Infrastructure and Transport Jone Usamate told SODELPA MP, Niko Nawaikula today in parliament that it is exceedingly naive of him to think that everything that people want can be delivered on time.
This comes after Nawaikula asked Usamate to include all the applications for water source in this years budget.
Usamate says they have already set their delivery targets.
The Minister says government’s aim in their 5 year and 20 year plan is to have 100 percent access to clean and safe drinking water.
Usamate says for urban areas, the plan is to have 100 percent access to clean and safe drinking water by 2021, while the aim is to have all areas covered in the rural areas by 2031.
