Good news for people living in the Navosa region as government services will be brought to their doorstep through the first ever Government Services Expo which will be held at Vatumali government station in Keiyasi next Tuesday and Wednesday.
The expo will be launched by the Prime Minister Voreqe Bainimarama and is targeted to cater for 7,000 people in the Navosa area including villages in the Ba district.
Expo Coordinator Ana Tora says the government has arranged transport for 43 villages in Navosa as they aim to bring more people to access the services they will be providing.
Tora says that they will be aligning themselves to six strategic objectives during the two-day event so they can provide better services on the event day.
She says these six strategies include enhancing awareness, identifying key stakeholders and building strong partnerships, community capacity building, inducing shift in mind-set and the evaluation of the effectiveness of the services expo.
Tora says the second Government Services Expo will be held in Korotasere, Cakaudrove on the 28th and 29th of next month.
