There were tears of joy rolling down the face of Ireland’s players after they beat Hong Kong 28‑7 in the qualifying final to earn them a spot in the HSBC World Rugby Sevens Series.
Ireland’s captain Billy Dardis says they are just delighted with the result as it has been a long and hard road.
