The Fiji National Provident Fund will be hosting a Retirement Expo to promote the retirement savings agenda to members and the general public.

FNPF Chief Executive Officer Jaoji Koroi has highlighted that the expo will help address the on-going challenge of low member balances, specifically for those nearing retirement age.

Koroi adds that it is critical that members continue to take an interest in their retirement savings and consider options for better retirement.

He says the aim of the retirement expo is to provide retirement planning, counseling services and allow people to enquire about FNPF’s voluntary membership scheme to update their records or nominations and memorandum of administration.

Koroi also reiterated that the sooner people start planning for their retirement, the more time and options they will have in achieving their long term retirement goals adding that is it is left too late, then people will be forced to make drastic changes to their lives when they retire.

The FNPF Retirement Expo will be held at Downtown Boulevard in Suva from tomorrow to Saturday.
