The Nadi Weather Office says the rainy weather being experienced in parts of the country is expected to continue until Sunday.
There is a heavy rain alert in force for the Eastern and Interior of Viti Levu which includes, Rakiraki, Tailevu, Naitasiri, Nausori, Navua and Korolevu.
A heavy rain alert is also in force for Kadavu, Lau and Lomaiviti groups.
This rain is being brought by a trough of low pressure.
Please note isolated heavy falls may lead to flash flooding of low lying areas.
