Police are yet to identify the student who is alleged to have beaten up another 16-year-old student which led to his demise.
The alleged incident occurred on the 16th of last month where the suspect is alleged to have punched the victim which caused severe head injuries.
The victim’s father filed an initial report at the Nadi Police Station on the 20th of March after which the victim was admitted at the Nadi Hospital on 24th March and then transferred to the Lautoka Hospital.
He passed away last Saturday.
