Communications Fiji Limited, South Pacific’s largest radio broadcaster and parent company of Legend FM, FM96, Viti FM, Navtarang and Radio Sargam has made a record operating group profit of $2.943 million after tax for the year 2018.

This was highlighted by CFL Executive Chairman, William Parkinson at the company’s Annual General Meeting today.

Parkinson also highlighted a dividend payout of over $1 million to CFL shareholders.

He says that in the end, 2018 was a very positive year for CFL as they maintained growth and profitability adding that this reflects a rise in performance in both the Fiji and Papua New Guinea operations.

Parkinson says that going forward CFL is very positive about 2019 with continuing growth from the PNG market adding that a lot of work has been put into CFL’s operations in PNG.

He adds that in Fiji, CFL continues to work hard to maintain the kind of growth that they are expecting for the year 2019.
