The Fiji Under 20 rugby team lost their opening match of the World Rugby Under 20 Championship going down to France 36-20 at Racecourse Stadium in Rosario in Argentina this morning.
France led 15-13 at half time.

Fiji’s fly half Caleb Muntz converted two penalties in the first half while centre, Taniela Ramasibana crossed over for a try.
The only points for Fiji in the second half came from a converted try by fullback, Osea Waqa.

The Fiji Under 20 rugby side is in Pool A with Wales and Argentina in the competition.
Argentina and Fiji face off at 4am Sunday in their second pool match.
Wales beat Argentina 30-25 in their match.
The World Rugby U20 Championship features 12 teams.
The team that finishes 12th at the completion of the 2019 tournament will be relegated to the World Rugby U20 Trophy in 2020.
The winning team from the World Rugby U20 Trophy 2019 will be promoted to the U20 Championship in 2020.
Teams will play each other in each pool on a round‑robin basis
