Moses Mbye has been cleared to play in tonight’s game 2 for the Queensland Maroons in the State of Origin.

Mbye collapsed in the Maroon’s hotel room on Friday night with just 48 hours left for their second State of the Origin game.

The Wests Tigers captain suffered anaphylactic shock and needed to be saved by a quick‑thinking Queensland doctor who treated the 25‑year‑old outside his hotel room door.

Anaphylactic shock is an extreme and often life‑threatening allergic reaction.

Mbye played just eight minutes on his Origin debut in Queensland's game‑one win at Suncorp Stadium at the beginning of this month.

The second game of the State of Origin will kick off at 11.50 tonight at Optus Stadium in Perth.
