Three men were arrested by the Western Division K9 Unit and officers from the Lautoka Police Station shortly after attempting to rob a taxi driver in Lautoka this morning.
Police say the incident occurred after midnight in Tavakubu where the three are alleged to have attempted to rob the taxi driver.
In trying to free himself from the suspects the driver lost control of his vehicle causing it to crash into a nearby house.
The K9 Unit and Police officers from Lautoka were deployed and arrested the three men from Natokowaqa.
