Crusaders coach Scott Robertson knows what it takes to complete a three‑peat of Super Rugby titles.
The 44‑year‑old was a loose forward for the red and blacks when they won three on the bounce between 1998‑2000, when they beat the Blues, Highlanders and Brumbies in deciders.
Now, Robertson is a win away ‑ against the Jaguares in Christchurch‑ from snaring three titles in as many years since taking over from Todd Blackadder in 2017.
Robertson says it is a pretty special occasion for a lot of them.
The Crusaders host the Jaguares in the final of the Super Rugby at 7.35pm on Saturday.
The Crusaders did not play the second‑seeded Jaguares during the regular season, and have only met them twice since the Argentinian side joined the competition in 2016.
