Fiji Airways Flying Fijians Coach, John McKee says that his first task with the team is trying to get the team’s fitness level to be able to play test matches.

McKee says that at the end of this week all the members of the squad will be in camp but fitness is the key.

Mckee also says that he is very excited to finally be in camp with the squad together with the coaching group that help to put this team together.

Fiji play the Maori All Blacks at 3pm next Saturday at the ANZ Stadium. The two teams also face off in Rotorua on 20th July.

Fiji is pooled with Australia, Wales, Georgia and Uruguay in the Rugby World Cup in Japan which kicks off in September this year.

The Flying Fijians’ opening match in the Rugby World Cup is against the Wallabies on 21st September.
