Fiji Airways Flying Fijians coach, John McKee says the Pacific Nations Cup is important to them and as defending champions, they want to maintain their position as the best team across the tournament.
McKee says he thinks with the depth in their squad they can balance preparing for the Rugby World Cup.
He also is impressed with the efforts put in by players in training adding this shows the players determination and passion in playing for their country.
Fiji play Japan at 5.50pm Saturday in Japan.
