Police have confirmed that the husband of the Australian woman who was allegedly found murdered at Service Street in Suva yesterday, is a suspect in the case, and will be questioned after he is released from hospital.
We are yet to get confirmation if this is a case of alleged murder and attempted suicide.
The woman was in her 40s.
The husband who is also an Australian national is in his late 30s, and is in stable condition.
The post mortem will be conducted tomorrow and the woman’s relatives also arrive in the country tomorrow.
It has been confirmed that the couple work for international organizations in Fiji.
The alleged incident occurred at 2pm yesterday.
